Job Summary

  • Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, visitors, and team members
  • Ensures the community is kept clean and odor-free, including resident rooms/apartments and common areas
  • Provides housekeeping and laundry services for residents as assigned
  • Stocks and maintains housekeeping carts/closets and ensures supplies are used and stored safely
  • Reports broken equipment, maintenance needs, unsafe conditions, and resident feedback to the direct supervisor promptly
  • Cleans assigned areas according to schedule and as requested, including (as applicable): dusting, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, bathrooms, trash removal, and linen changes
  • Follows infection control, safety, and chemical handling procedures (including PPE requirements as applicable)
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred (senior living/hospitality a plus)
  • Ability to use required equipment and tools, including vacuums, mops, brooms, dustpans, and cleaning chemicals/supplies safely
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
